Dear Friends,

Thank you for your on-going support of St. Bridget’s Parish. It is only through your generosity that we as a parish are able to accomplish our mission of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and offering the people of God a warm and inviting place to worship.

Over the last few years, we have focused on the physical renovation of the church, rectory and other parish facilities. Your generous donations to our Parish Building Repairs and Maintenance Fund have allowed us to accomplish much of the work that is so necessary. However, there is still so much more that needs to be done just to keep our buildings and facilities in good working order. There is the need to upgrade our technological facilities in order to keep up with the advancements in electronic media today.

Likewise, the need to look to the spiritual renovation of our parish cannot be over-emphasized. We need to:

• expand our pastoral outreach and focus on treating the poor with authentic charity,
• help the spiritually lost find their way back to the church,
• invite and welcome new members into our parish community,
• find creative ways for the diverse groups of our parish to interact and complement one another, and
• establish ministries for each of the age groups of our parish community – especially the young and the old,

among others. All these programs need financial support in order to be established, majority of which come only from our first Sunday collection.

We are merely stewards of God’s abundant gifts. Through your commitment of your time, talent and treasure we can truly accomplish our parish mission and vision. Together, we would be able to start implementing some very much needed programs and ministries here in our parish.

We invite you, therefore, to consider making a sacrificial gift, a pledge, or a sacrifice of your time and talent – and experience life more fully in the presence of Christ.
